I follow Amy on her blog and she is by far one of my favorite bloggers and quilters. This would be a great first project for a beginner. I started out with rag quilts, but soon got tired of all the snipping. I wish I had found this before I made my first quilted quilt. I love the fabric in this quilt, I actually have some of the prints in my stash!
She sells patterns as well...gorgeous!
